BeWell Center Onsite Clinic Covered Services 

As the following chart shows, the BeWell Center Onsite Clinic provides a wide range of services related to wellness and acute episodic care. Where appropriate, the clinic may also: 

  • refer you to your Primary Care Physician for follow-up care; or
  • arrange for your transfer to the hospital emergency room if additional treatment is required.

Condition Clinic Services

Emergency Response Within Clinic/Wellness Center

  • Basic Life Support, including CPR, AED, oxygen therapy, nasal & oral airways, injectable benadryl and epinephrine, IV insertion
  • Choking/shortness of breath
  • Transfer to hospital emergency room, if required
The BeWell Center Onsite Clinic is not equipped to handle emergencies that occur outside of its normal operating hours. You should call the security team at ext. 11111 or go to the nearest hospital emergency room if you have an emergency that occurs outside of the clinic’s normal operating hours.

Laceration/Wound Care

  • Minor wounds and abrasions
  • Plastic repairs (facial wounds)
  • Specialist referral for deep or multi-system wounds
  • Minor puncture wounds
  • 1st and 2nd degree burns
  • Repairs, including steri-strip, dermabond, suture replacement

Suture Removal

  • Minor lacerations only
  • Surgical and plastic sutures should be removed by surgeon or specialist who placed them

Wellness Coaching
(not available to contractors)

  • Engage employees in coaching programs
  • Meet with individual employees weekly or bi-weekly for 3-6 months or until goals are met; sessions are typically 30 minutes
  • Assess the employee’s readiness for behavior change in the areas of weight management, nutrition, physical fitness, smoking cessation, and stress management
  • Help the employee understand the benefits of behavior change and correct misinformation
  • Co-create individual wellness plans
  • Identify motivators and barriers to behavior change
  • Guide the employee into exploring new behaviors to substitute for those which have not been effective
  • Set short and long-term goals
  • Celebrate success and develop strategies to overcome barriers
  • Refer employees to existing WorkingWell programs and resources
  • Collaborate with WorkingWell Center staff on annual program development
  • Support group education/coaching sessions
  • Support data collection and reporting of program metrics.
